Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Hang app, operated by Nilsen Lab (“we,” “us”). Hang helps people share availability, manage friends and groups, and create plans together. By using Hang, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may use Hang only if you can form a binding agreement with us under the laws that apply to you.

Acceptable conduct

• Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other people
• Do not upload or share unlawful, harmful, hateful, or exploitative content
• Do not try to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access
• Do not use Hang to spam people or interfere with the service

Your content

You keep ownership of the profile information, photos, availability, event content, comments, and reports you submit. You give us permission to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the app.

Safety and enforcement

We may remove content, restrict accounts, or preserve information when needed to protect people, investigate reports, comply with law, or keep the service working. You can report safety concerns or account issues by emailing lukas@nilsenlab.com.

Availability and warranty

Hang is provided “as is” and “as available,” and features may change over time. We work to keep the service reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hang and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

App stores

Your use of the app is also subject to the Apple App Store rules. This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. We - not Apple - are solely responsible for the app and for any support or maintenance.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as “terrorist-supporting,” and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Norway will have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date above shows when they last changed.
